Boy have I gotten lazy…busy….overwhelmed….forgetful….What was I saying again? The last blog was some months ago and I found myself with a couple of hours on a Sunday morning….Keith is finally getting some couch time.So what’s new with us? Well the rumors of a church coming into the empty old Safeway building continue…nothing confirmed yet. […]
What’s cooking you ask? Well, it turns out a lot….like a ton!! Thanks to some much needed printed press (The Times Call, March 3rd by Clay Fong) we have a bunch of new customers coming to see us. A very happy but tired Keith and Teresa. This brings me to my point…doesn’t anyone want a […]
Our family diner will be a little lonely in the next few weeks. Some of you may not notice but our regulars will….there’s going to be a little less bounce in our step. We opened for business in May 2013, and very quickly realized we could not handle this on our own. We were much […]

About the diner
Every great neighborhood deserves a great diner! When the idea of a second career came around, Keith and Teresa MacPhail had an easy choice.
Over the years of donating dinners to raise money for their kids' school, the winning bid was getting higher and higher. "If people we know would pay money for our food, then perhaps our neighbors would too." Teresa recalls a conversation with Keith. The seed was planted that day and Mac's Place was born.
We are the kind of diner that supports local farms, dairies and coffee roasting facilities. We support the people and businesses that support us!
Our neighborhood is filled with families, young and old that need a gathering place that's close. Mac's Place provides that and so much more! We cook what our customers want to eat....eggs, just the way they like them! Scratch made recipes make up the bulk of our menu....must try the biscuits and gravy! We always ask your name at the register because we want to know our customers....by name, not just by their order!
